Painting Anaylsis

I feel that this particular painting by Andy Warhol, 'A Shot of Marylin Monroe', will influence my music video. My chosen song is upbeat and somewhat holds a sense of 'fun', therefore I feel that the bright and contrasting colours of this pop art picture will similarly work well within my music video. The original photo which created this artwork shows Marylin Monroe wearing strong makeup; this is also typical of many female artists within their music videos nowadays, as perhaps they use it in order to make a statement. I feel that Marylin holds a sense of glamour about her photo, which I will also try to apply to my chosen performers for my video. Within my video, though my performers will not have coloured faces, I will try to incorporate the coloured backgrounds and the colours into the clothing and styling.
